Starting at $17/hr Job Summary Automatic LLC, in partnership with a local company in Northeast Knoxville, TN, is seeking Quality Specialists to join their team! As a Quality Control Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our quality standards.
You will work closely with Quality Engineers, conducting tests, collecting data, analyzing results, and ensuring adherence to established procedures.
Key
Responsibilities:
Propose improvements to the company-wide quality system to enhance overall quality standards.
Conduct comprehensive audits of manufacturing processes, ensuring adherence to system standards.
Perform a variety of destructive and non-destructive testing procedures to ensure product quality.
Gather and analyze Statistical Process Control (SPC) data, collaborating with department management to review and assess results.
Initiate and oversee the implementation of corrective measures and follow-up actions as needed.
Utilize Quality Assurance/Control tools effectively to enhance product quality.
Provide support to team members in achieving collective goals related to Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and Morale.
Actively participate in and fully support the 5S5T program.
Qualifications:
Proficient in using computers, including Windows 10 and Microsoft Office Excel, for data retrieval and analysis, email, and document handling.
Willingness to learn and gain career-building experience working with lab equipment.
Flexible schedule and ability to work overtime as required.
This position will require extensive overtime.
