Lifetime Products Inc., is seeking a Finished Goods Inventory Specialist to join our team in Mascot (Knoxville) Tennessee.
The Finished Goods Inventory Specialist will be responsible for preparing items for shipment by performing a series of processes. You will be part of an energetic group of professionals in a fast paced state of the art manufacturing environment.
Must be self-motivated, proactive, organized and have excellent communication skills, as well as a good attitude regarding team work and working well with all team members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (Other duties may be assigned):
Cycle counts product, material, merchandise, or supplies in stock; posts transfers, adjusts, and maintains totals for ATP purposes and company inventory records. Physical counts etc. are required if records do not balance.
Compares inventories to office and computer records or computes figures from records such as shipped orders, production plans and records, or purchase order to obtain current inventory.
Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock, adjusts errors in computation or count, investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies. Uses inventory records to verify shipment errors or quality control issues.
Prepares reports, verifies stock levels, stock location and suitability to ship.
High school diploma or equivalent GED; three to six months related experience or training; preferred combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, write and interpret documents such as routine reports, correspondence, safety rules, procedure manuals, and general business documents.
Proficient computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping and working knowledge of Microsoft office which include Outlook, Word and Excel.
Previous experience with an MRP system desired; Microsoft Dynamics AX experience a plus.
Ability to deal with problems involving few to no concrete variables in standardized situations.
Ability to solve practical problems while being able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Valid State of Tennessee Driver's License with a clean MVR.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
