Facilities Maintenance Technician TN

Lifetime Products Inc., is currently recruiting for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team in Mascot (Knoxville) Tennessee.
We are looking for a hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician to support building and grounds maintenance at our new 700,000 square foot plastics manufacturing and warehouse facility located in Northeast Knox County TN. This is a ground-floor opportunity with excellent growth potential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain all building and grounds systems including electrical, lighting, security, access control, fire protection, plumbing, overhead doors, loading dock equipment, and HVAC systems.
Respond to daily maintenance requests and work orders within the facility. Perform minor repairs where possible, and arrange for contractors to perform service and maintenance work as needed.
Perform regular facility inspections to determine maintenance needs.
Monitor and supervise contract services, including HVAC, landscape maintenance, pest control, and janitorial services.
Respond to 24 hour emergency maintenance calls.
Set up/move furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed to prepare facilities for meetings and events.
Help maintain facility compliance to Federal, State and local ordinances and codes.
Support construction and remodeling projects within the facility.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written communication.
Good troubleshooting and decision making skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Good computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, team members, suppliers, contractors, and customers.
Ability to read, write and interpret documents such as routine reports and correspondence, safety rules, procedure manuals, and general business documents.
Must be able to work a flexible shift, including some nights, and weekends.
Manual dexterity sufficient to use hand tools and power tools.
Ability to walk, stand, crouch, and climb to perform repairs, use ladders and perform various types of manual labor
Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Must have 2+ years related large facility maintenance experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
